The PHUSE Steering Committee provides oversight to the Working Groups as well as developing content for the Annual Symposium. The team consists of Working Group Leads, FDA Liaisons, Industry Representatives and members of the PHUSE BOD & Office. At a high level the Steering Committee provides the following:

  • Monitor Working Groups and their associated projects, making sure projects are aligned across groups, facilitate cross Working Groups collaborations, and provide an escalation path for any needs

  • Our Industry Representatives review the New Projects and evaluate against our overall mission of the collaboration

  • Our Working Groups Leads and members from the FDA review the draft deliverables and ensure the content is appropriate for publication

  • We all ensure that communications are open and transparent and establish an infrastructure that allows growth 

  • Create & Review processes to ensure current and effective in the aid of supporting the projects

Chris Price: Working Groups BOD
Chris has been involved with PHSUE since 2008, contributing to the Conference Committee and SDE's before chairing the 2015 Annual Conference in Vienna. Subsequently, Chris has contributed to and Co-Led Working Groups and in 2017 was nominated to the role of Working Groups Director


Lisa Brooks: Collaborations Director
Lisa has been active within the PHUSE Working Groups since 2015 and had been Co-Chair of the Optimizing the Use of Data Standards Working Group from 2017 - 2019. Lisa is the primary contact between the PHUSE BOD of Directors and regulatory agencies/external partnerships

Wendy Dobson: Project Manager
Wendy joined PHUSE in February 2016 as Project Co-ordinator, a role new to PHUSE and Working Groups. Following promotion to Project Manager and the expansion of the Working Groups, Lauren was brought on board to support. Wendy primarily supports the Steering Committee, Optimizing the Use of Data Standards, Emerging Trends & Technologies and Safety Analytics Working Groups


Lauren White: Project Co-ordinator
Lauren joined PHUSE as a Project Assistant in 2017 to help support the Working Groups and in 2018 was promoted to Project Co-ordinator. Lauren supports  Data Transparency, Nonclinical Topics and Data Visualisation & Open Source Technologies Working Groups through initiation to final publication of project deliverables
