PHUSE Working Groups Leadership Operations Committee

The PHUSE Working Groups Leadership Operations Committee provides oversight to the Working Groups as well as developing content for the annual Symposium. The team consists of Working Group Leads, FDA Liaisons, Industry Representatives and members of the PHUSE Board and Office. At a high level the Steering Committee provides the following:

  • Monitor Working Groups and their associated projects, making sure projects are aligned across groups, facilitate cross Working Groups collaborations, and provide an escalation path for any needs.

  • Our Industry Representatives review the New Projects and evaluate against our overall mission of the collaboration.

  • Our Working Groups Leads and members from the FDA review the draft deliverables and ensure the content is appropriate for publication.

  • We all ensure that communications are open and transparent and establish an infrastructure that allows growth.

  • Create and review processes to ensure current and effective in the aid of supporting the projects.

PHUSE Board of Directors and PHUSE Office
Both Chris and Lisa are members of the PHUSE Board and oversee the Working Groups and Partnerships for PHUSE. Lauren and Alex help support PHUSE projects and have highlighted below the areas they support.

Chris Price

Working Groups Director

Chris has been involved with PHUSE since 2008, contributing to the Conference Committee and SDE's before chairing the 2015 Annual Conference in Vienna. Subsequently, Chris has contributed to and Co-Led Working Groups. In 2017 was nominated to the role of Working Groups Director.


Lauren White 

Senior Project Coordinator

Lauren joined PHUSE in 2017 and supports the Leadership & Deliverable and Working Groups Operations Committees. Lauren also contributes to the organisation of the annual PHUSE/FDA CSS and overseas the operations of the Working Groups activities.

Alex Pearce

Project Assistant 

Since joining PHUSE in 2023, Alex has supported the activities within the following Working Groups, Emerging Trends and Technologies, Nonclinical Topics, Risk Based Monitoring, and Real World Evidence. 

Nicola Newton

Project Assistant

Nicola joined PHUSE in July 2023 and supports the following Working Groups; Data Visualisation and Open Source Technology, Optimising the Use of Data Standards and Safety Analytics.
